On May 24, 2023 at 9:48am, Danbury Police received a call stating a man was shooting a firearm near 55 Wildman Street. Upon arrival, officers determined a person fired out a window from unit 506. Neighbors provided video of male holding a firearm outside of the window.
Responding units requested SWAT team to secure the area. Residents were removed from the complex for their safety. Around 1pm, investigators were able to make contact with the male occupant who came out peacefully. Erikson Bueno (25-years-old) was arrested and charged with Illegal Alteration of Firearm Identification Mark, Serial Number or Name, Illegal Discharge of a Firearm, 2nd Degree Breach of Peace, and 1 st Degree Reckless Endangerment. Bueno was held on a $100,000 bond,
