November is National Novel Writing Month. Writers of all ages are welcome to accept the challenge of writing 50,000 by November’s end. You could write a novel, a play, a collection of poems, a memoir—anything at all. Members of the Fairfield County Writers Group will be hosting an In-Person Write-In on Saturday, November 26 from 1:00PM to 4:00PM. Bring your pen and paper or your laptop to the Morse Conference Room, meet other writers who are taking on the challenge, and see your word count climb.
Why do thousands of people all over the world do this every November? To get into the habit of writing every day. After all, a story doesn’t write itself.
