DANBURY, Connecticut — Western Connecticut State University invites the public to attend and/or participate in its Midtown Coffeehouses held most Thursday evenings in the Wolves Den, located in the lower level of the university’s Midtown campus Student Center, 181 White Street in Danbury. The Coffeehouses include open mics from 8 – 10 p.m. (sign-ups start at 7:30 p.m.) and on some nights there are special performers. The events are free, and complimentary snacks and beverages are offered; donations are accepted.

- Oct. 27: Spoken Word
- Nov. 3: WCSU Student Jazz Ensemble
- Nov. 10: Daniel Madeson
- Nov. 17: Comedian Cat Alverado
- Dec. 1: Comedian Sam Morrison
- Dec. 8: TBD
