Western Connecticut State University issued the following announcement on March 29.
DANBURY, Connecticut — Western Connecticut State University’s Department of Art offers a creative and relaxing “Sip and Sculpt” that pairs the artistic experience of sculpting clay with enjoying wine, refreshments and music from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, April 8, 2022, at the Sculpture Studio (Room 248) of the WCSU Visual and Performing Arts Center on the university’s Westside campus, 43 Lake Ave. Extension in Danbury.
Participants of all artistic skill levels will be guided by an experienced artist in clay hand-building techniques to create original works of art including coil pots, while also enjoying music, wine and snacks during this shared creative experience for people aged 21 and over.
The admission fee is $25 and includes wine, snacks and all materials. Tickets can be purchased online at www.wcsuvpac.eventbrite.com.
