Town of Bridgewater: 35 Unlicensed Dogs

Town of Bridgewater issued the following announcement on March 31.

State Statute requires Animal Control Officers (ACO) to enforce  dog owners to license their dogs. If your unlicensed dog is identified  by an Officer, there is a $75 statutory fine. Currently, the town of Bridgewater has 35 delinquent dog licenses.

Please make sure that your dogs are up to date with their license.

Dogs will need a current rabies certificate.

The fee schedule will be:

Month of April: $10 late fee applies; total for a neutered/spayed dog is $18, unaltered dog is $29.

ALL  DOGS 6 months and older will need to be licensed/renewed in the month  of June.  On time licensing is $8 for an altered dog, $19 for an  unaltered dog.

Licensing paperwork can be put in the mail or done in person at the Town Clerk's Office (860-354-5102) located in Town Hall.  DOWNLOAD FORM HERE
