Town of Bridgewater: Spring Bulky Drop-Off

Town of Bridgewater issued the following announcement on March 31.

SPRING BULKY DROP OFF

Starts Monday, April 25th  

BULKY ITEMS CAN BE DROPPED OFF AT THE TOWN GARAGE

Large dumpsters will be at the town garage located at 324 Hut Hill Road, where residents may drop off bulky household items to be disposed of from Monday April 25th through  Friday April 29th from 7:30am-3:00pm.  And on Saturday April 30th from  9am-12:30pm.  

One free pickup truck load or two carloads per household.   Additional pickup loads will cost $25 per load.  1-3 ton truckloads  will cost $50 per additional load, with a maximum of 3 total loads per  household.

HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!!!

What NOT to bring:

  • HAZARDOUS WASTE (paint, solvents, pesticides, etc.)
  • CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS
  • GARBAGE - State Law prohibits the town from accepting household garbage at the Town Garage.  
The following items are accepted year round at the Town Garage:

  • TIRES – accepted for a fee, payable by check or cash
  • APPLIANCES/ELECTRONICS (TVs, computers, refrigerators, microwaves, etc.)
  • BRUSH (3 inches in diameter or less)
We accept bulky waste from BRIDGEWATER RESIDENTS ONLY!!
