On Friday, March 21, former Canterbury School standout Ian Cooke’s current college team, the UConn Huskies, won 3-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UNC Greensboro Spartans.
The game took place at UNCG Baseball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Spartans this season.
The Huskies’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 2 p.m. at UNCG Baseball Stadium against UNC Greensboro Spartans.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
