On Friday, Feb. 28, former Danbury High School standout Justin Solimine’s current college team, the Stetson Hatters, lost 8-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Indiana Hoosiers.
The game took place at Melching Field at Conrad Park. This was their first matchup against the Hoosiers this season.
The Hatters’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at Melching Field at Conrad Park against Indiana Hoosiers.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature action from these former Housatonic Valley area high school stars.
