On Friday, Feb. 14, former Canterbury School standout Nick Sturino’s current college team, the Fairfield Stags, lost 9-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles.
The game took place at Swanson Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Coast Eagles this season.
The Stags’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. at Swanson Stadium against Florida Gulf Coast Eagles.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature action from these former Housatonic Valley area high school stars.
