On Monday, March 10, former Canterbury School standout Evan Rossi’s current college team, the Bentley Falcons, won 12-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Molloy Lions.
The game took place at Lynn Baseball Field. This was their second matchup against the Lions this season.
The Falcons’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 11 a.m. at Lynn Baseball Field against Georgian Court Lions.
In January 2025, Mecklenburg County Magistrate Teresa Stokes signed the release of DeCarlos Brown Jr., a repeat arrestee later accused of fatally stabbing Iryna Zarutska on Charlotte’s light-rail.
Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
