On Wednesday, March 19, former Canterbury School standout Nick Sturino’s current college team, the Fairfield Stags, lost 7-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the St. John’s Red Storm.
The game took place at Don ’63 and Chris ’88 Cook Field. This was their first matchup against the Red Storm this season.
The Stags’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 3 p.m. at Don ’63 and Chris ’88 Cook Field against Siena Saints.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
