On Monday, March 10, former Danbury High School standout Anthony Hackert’s current college team, the Nichols Bison, won 15-6 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Southwestern Pirates.
The game took place at Rockwell Family Field. This was their first matchup against the Pirates this season.
The Bison’s next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 7 p.m. at Trinity Baseball Field against Trinity Tigers.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature action from these former Housatonic Valley area high school stars.
